You have intuitive abilities of your own. If you are not aware of that, then you are using that skill regularly on a subconscious level. When it comes to choosing a psychic, you are going to use your intuition consciously.
Find a psychic that you think you might like. You can do that online or in a publication. Look at their photo. Look at the eyes. They really are the windows into the soul. Do you feel drawn in further? If so, go to step two. If not, rule that one out. You are picking up more from that photo than you might imagine.
Going Further
Now you are going to read what the psychic wrote about themselves. Understand that while most psychics are ethical people who set up their websites to help potential clients know more about them and make it easier to choose the right one; there are some that are not so forthright.
Look for the facts. How long have they been a professional psychic? Who did they train with? What are their specialties? How much do they charge? All of this information should be made clear without digging too deep.
Sometimes It’s In the Detail
Find information about how they conduct their readings. If they use tools, or are a clear channel; are angels involved; do they offer combined services in one session?
Often by reading this type of detail, you will get a strong feeling about whether the psychic is going to be the right one for you.
What Do Their Clients Say?
Make sure to look on Yelp, TripAdvisor and Google+ for reviews left by clients of the psychic. On these sites, there is no way for the psychic to edit reviews or remove the negative ones.
I have found that by reading actual client reviews, I get a more clear picture of who the psychic is; both as a person and as a professional.
Keep Your Investment Low
If you are still not quite sure the psychic you choose is right for you, set up a session for the minimum amount of time they offer. Many psychics will be able to extend the time if you decide you want a longer reading.
You can always set up a longer reading for another day, or after you get home. Psychics can do readings by phone and Skype, giving you the ability to retain them if you find they provide valuable intuitive information to you.
